The First Fall Color 2011 Post! (SE Iowa)

Thank you to Shady Gardener at Does Everything Grow Better In My Neighbor's Yard for the being the first contributor for the Fall Color Project of 2011!  Shady Gardener took her camera out for a trip around town (in SE Iowa) to highlight the bright and beautiful foliage popping up all around.

Here she speculates on the fantastic color:

It is truly wonderful to see the Fall colors this year.  I wonder if the severe drought and high temperatures most of the summer has had anything to do with it?

It could be, the trees certainly don't look the worse for wear!  Go visit Shady Gardener's Fall Color Project Post!

The Fall Color Project is hosted each year by Growing The Home Garden.  Visit the Fall Color Project Post for more information on how to participate!
